VOTE in TX is a collaborative effort between Houston based artists, Nyssa Juneau & Eepi Chaad. The project, launched in mid 2020 to shared important information about VOTING in TX and issues that affect our community leading to Election Day 2020.
The 2020 project scope included creation of an informational website as a one-stop-shop for Houston voters to create a voting plan, as we are aware that access to clear information on voting can be a barrier to many communities. Chaad & Juneau incorporated original drawings into weekly posts on social media that brought attention to the resource website, as well as educating followers about down ballot issues ahead of the 2020 election.
VOTE in TX is dedicated to continuing the work in 2021. Chaad & Juneau are now focusing on moving the needle in the lead up to important state level elections in 2022.
